Hand expression is one of the best things you can do to increase your output and if you’re struggling with milk supply. As a matter of fact lactation consultant highly recommend this especially to those moms who have milk supply issues.
Hand expression is simple. You can start by warming up your hands through rubbing your palms together. Massage your breast with your warm hands for about two minutes or so. Once done massaging your breast, you can start pumping by grabbing your areola do the compress and out motion. You can do this in 20 repetitions to get more output.
